Ronan School District provides learning opportunities for adults who want to acquire a new skill, explore a new interest area, or enrich their personal or professional lives. Classes are open to all adults (18 years and older) in Ronan and the surrounding communities.
Be sure to register before you pay for your class!
Heads up! All classes must have at least 5 participants registered on the first day for the class to continue. Invite your family and friends!

Open Walking Track-Weight Room

Cost: Free
Get your sweat on! Walking track open to runners and walkers. Free weights, lifting equipment, bicycles, and more available in the weight room.

Co-Ed Basketball Open Gym
Tues. & Thurs., @ 7:00pm-9:00pm
Location: KWH Gym
Cost: Free
Hoop with the community. 5v5 games are played all night. Bring your sneakers and friends!

Pickleball Open Gym

Cost: Free
Pickleball is a fun combination of tennis and ping pong played on a court. All levels of players are welcome, from beginners to experts, be ready to play with and against all! Equipment will be provided or bring your own paddles/balls if you would like.

Fall 2025 Adult Education Classes
Women's Choir

Welcome to Community Women’s choir! This fall we will continue to do some traditional choir pieces as well as try out some a cappella chamber type music, and various other genres. Please join us on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm in the Ronan MS choir room. If you have an idea for a piece of music you are dying to do, please bring it or talk to Molly Wilson about it at (406)564-7965.
So far some music we will look at includes: Autumn Vesper, (Irish) Blessing, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (Andrews Sisters- and we have a bugler to play with us!), Bridge Over Troubled Water (Paul Simon), Sleighride, Do You Here What I Hear, two funky Benjamin Britten carols, an accapella motet Kyrie Eleison, and possibly a couple others including Wendell Berry’s Peace of Wild Things. Join us to learn fun music, challenge your vocal chords, and have a great time.

Yoga & Meditation
Instructor: Julie Janssen

What to Bring: Yoga mat
This class will be offering yoga and meditation. Julie is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, as well as an SEL facilitator, and will be incorporating numerous components of wellness into the one hour class.

Pottery
Instructor: Michelle Mallon
Day: Wednesdays
Time:4:30pm-7:30pm
Location: RHS art room
Cost: $20 + $100 Supply Fee
Limited space. Extra applications will be placed on a wait listt.
Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of hand built pottery methods including slab built, coil pot, and pinch pot methods. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to throw pottery on the wheel. All students will be subject to a $100 supply fee to help cover material costs for clay, firing costs, and glaze.

Dance Fitness
Instructor: Jeannie Butler
Day: Thursdays
Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Location: PES gym
Cost: $20
Learn the basic of Latin dancing. We will cover the basics of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cha Cha. * This is a low to medium impact class. Beginners welcome. We start out with a stretch warm-up first and end with a stretch/cool down. We will exercise and move your body with dance!

Instructor: Regina Mad Plume (Native American Culture Specialist)
Beading teaches the methods and history of artistically decorating all types of clothing and other
utilitarian objects with beadwork. Beginner and experience beaders will be learn on improving their
skills in applying the designs and colors used by Native American people throughout Turtle Island.
Beaders will look at patterns and create their own patterns using material as listed.
Some materials you may want to bring include:
- Beads - make sure you know what size they are so they match your needles.
- Grid paper
- Pelon
- Needles - match to bead size
- Earing backs, lanyards, barret, essential the base of what you want to design on.
3 Chiefs Cultural Center in Pablo is a great place to get what you need. Seed Beads size 11 are 5.50 a hank, and they have a 30% off special going for tri-cuts right now

Instructor: Jamie Hess
This will be a 2 hour long class where int he first hour you will learn and work on Flax Sweaters by Tincan Knits, In hour 2 you will work on stranded color work stockings. Participants are and to work the whole time or are welcome to work on one thing the whole time or do both. This is a simple and higher level technique so work where you are comfortable
