Ronan School District provides learning opportunities for adults who want to acquire a new skill, explore a new interest area, or enrich their personal or professional lives. Classes are open to all adults (18 years and older) in Ronan and the surrounding communities.
COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Ronan School District No. 30’s Adult Education Program strives to re-engage program instructors and participants by minimizing the possible spread of COVID 19 and related illnesses. Our priority is to follow directives, requirements, and guidance from, RSD, Lake County Health Department, CSKT Tribal Health Department, and CDC. This is our plan for how we will proceed and prepare for program start-up.
Important Adult Ed Updates:
2/21/23- Women's Choir, Open Gym Basketball, and Native American Beadwork have been canceled tonight due to driving conditions. Stay warm and safe!
2/9/2023- Native American Beadwork has been moved to the RMS 7th Grade Hall Commons to accomodate more participants. This change will begin 2/14.
2/1/2023- Introduction to "Magic:The Gathering Game Night did not obtain 5 or more partipants; will not be continuing.
1/31/2023- Native American Beadwork cancelled for the evening. Will resume as normal next week, 2/6/23.
Winter 2023 session will run January 30th-April 6th.

Get your sweat on! Walking track open to runners and walkers. Free weights, lifting equipment, bicycles, and more available in the weight room.

Pickleball is a fun combination of tennis and ping pong played on a court. All levels of players are welcome. Equipment will be provided or bring your own paddles/balls if you would like.

In this class you will learn basic yoga poses and alignment. This is a great option for beginners and those looking for stress relief.

Join CS&K Tribal Artist Aggie Incashola for an Adult Ed session of Beadworking. She will teach the flat Applique/ 2 needle method. Bead wrapping and Brick Stitch. The first class will be an Intro to Beadwork while creating a small project. We will discuss the materials needed and the concept of finding designs to bead. The second and all the following classes you will be working on your project of choice. We always have a great time.

SoulFireVibin

What to Bring: Light hand weights up to 5lbs, yoga mat, water, and a sassy attitude.
A blend of vinyasa flow YOGA, light body weight plyometrics, mixed in with a body groove vibe. All moves based on yoga with an attitude for life! This class is high energy AND super chill, fun and filled with laughter. Think of it as “BPMs”for your “OMs” The class is a one-stop yoga groove-sculpt shop. For 60 minutes, you’ll be flowing from Warrior variations, into squats and hip-openers right into a easy dance groove.

6 Weeks to Better Health

If you are looking for simple, natural and effective ways to improve your health, this class can help. This participatory course is designed to be informative, fun and useful. We will discuss nutrition, botanical medicine, relaxation and exercise techniques, hydrotherapy and medical philosophy. Each week students will be given short, cumulative assignments in each of these areas. While individual medical advice will not be given, participants progress, challenges and insights will be reviewed weekly. Students who take part fully in this class will gain knowledge, improved health, and tools for wellness that will last a lifetime.

Bitcoin for Beginners

A Bitcoin class aimed at beginners that will cover:

- - What makes good money and why Bitcoin is valued

- - How to acquire, use, and store Bitcoin

- - Recommended services, tools, and resources for further exploration
