EASIE Part II Deadline for Transmittal

Friday, May 10, 2024

11:59 p.m. (ET)

The Department of Education issued a notice inviting applications (NIA) for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 2024 for Indian Education Formula Grants to Local Educational Agencies. The Electronic Application System for Indian Education (EASIE) Part II will open on Monday, April 1, 2024, and will close on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (ET).

The notice inviting applications (NIA) provides basic program and fiscal information on each award opportunity, informs potential applicants when and where they can obtain applications, and cites the deadline date for a particular competition. The opening and closing dates for EASIE Part II for FY 2024-25 were published in the Federal Register Notice here

How to Access Your EASIE Part II Application

Each entity’s registered Point of Contact (POC), Project Director (PD), and Authorized Official Representative (AOR) will receive an entity-specific link on the open date to access EASIE Part II.

The AOR (Superintendent, Chief, or similar with official authority to legally bind the entity to an ED contract) can continue to delegate the responsibility of completing the EASIE Part II Application to other entity contacts by sharing their entity-specific link internally. An official record of that delegation should be kept on file by the entity leadership. The AOR is ultimately responsible to review and certify the Application. Each entity needs to confirm that the EASIE Application is certified by the AOR by the Application deadline.

If you do not receive your entity-specific link to EASIE Part II on the open date (from easie@lyris.dundee.net), please check your junk/spam folder to ensure these emails were not categorized as spam. If you are unable to locate or need assistance updating entity or contact information, please contact the Partner Support Center (PSC). Contact information is provided at the bottom of this notice. If you are unable to find the initial EASIE Part II launch email which includes the entity-specific link, please contact the Partner Support Center. Additionally, emails sent from easie@lyris.dundee.net may not be received due to your entity’s email firewall settings. To resolve this, PSC recommends reaching out to your entity’s IT department to approve this email address to ensure it is not blocked moving forward.

Upcoming Webinars

The Partner Support Center (PSC) will conduct two identical webinars detailing the process of completing EASIE Part II. The webinars are scheduled to assist applicants with all EASIE Part II Grant Application questions. PSC will also conduct an EASIE Formula Grant Program Information Webinar and an EASIE Reallocation Webinar for FY 2024-25.

You must register for a session before attending a webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the phone number and website link to join the webinar.
